Step 01

Book Your Consultation

Your journey begins with a consultation with Dr Carolyn. This is your chance to share your goals, ask questions and understand what orthodontic care can achieve for you. Bringing recent dental X‑rays is essential to maximise the consultation. No referral is needed, simply book a time that suits you by contacting us via our online form or calling us on 03 9070 3448.

Step 02

Diagnostic Imaging

Before planning your treatment, Dr Carolyn will review diagnostic records such as X‑rays and, in some cases, 3D scans. These images give a detailed picture of your teeth, jaws and bone structure, allowing us to design a safe, precise and personalised treatment plan.

Step 03

Discussing Your Treatment Options

After reviewing your records, Dr Carolyn will talk you through your treatment options. These may include growth appliances, traditional braces, clear aligners, lingual braces or a combination approach. She’ll explain the benefits of each option so you can make a confident, informed decision.

Appliance Placement

Once your plan is finalised, Dr Carolyn will carefully fit your braces or provide your aligners. She’ll show you how to care for your appliance and what to expect in the first few days. This appointment sets the foundation for effective, comfortable tooth movement.

Step 05

Visit Regularly

Throughout treatment, you’ll attend regular review appointments so Dr Carolyn can monitor your progress and make any necessary adjustments. These visits help keep your treatment on track. You’ll also continue seeing your general dentist for routine check‑ups and cleaning.

Step 06

Smile!

When your treatment is complete, you’ll enjoy the confident smile you’ve been working toward. To maintain your results long‑term, retainers are essential. Dr Carolyn will provide retainers and guidance to help keep your smile beautifully aligned for years to come.
